Hello. Welcome to the “Reflections on Higher Education” blog – a site that provides information about assessment, academic technology, faculty development, academic scholarship, student success, and other topics in higher education.
My name is Lirim Neziroski. I am an academic administrator at a liberal arts university outside of Chicago, and I spend my days working with academic programs to improve assessment processes, increase student performance, promote academic technology, increase faculty development, and ensure student success. I set up this blog because I know many people struggle with these topics and because I believe I can help you understand assessment and improve assessment processes at your school.
I set up this blog because I can help you understand and improve assessment processes.
On this blog, you will find information and resources on a range of topics in higher education, including assessment, technology, faculty development, scholarship, and more. You will also find blog posts about other topics I find interesting and would like to share, including my creative writing and things I am reading. Most of these resources are free, but I will probably also add some premium content you can purchase.
I aim to post new content at least every two weeks, though I will probably post content about related topics more frequently. I have included a list of categories and an archive on the right. You also submit your email address to receive alerts when new content becomes available.
I encourage you to comment on anything you find interesting, though I have added an approval process to ensure that comments are professional, on topic, and that they would benefit readers. Feel free to contact me directly through the “Contact” link at the top of the page. You can also contact me for consulting work, guest speaking opportunities, mentoring, interviews, podcasts, guest writing, and other services. Please also consider purchasing one of my publications (when they become available) if you would like to show your support financially.
Enjoy, and I look forward to connecting with you and learning from you too.
